Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
"The Long Journey Home"
The winds of the American west gust strong over the prairie. Over a hill, covered in the golden grass of fall, comes a horse and rider. Both the brown and white roan and the Native American woman on its back bend their head in the wind. Exhaustion is evident in both. The horse has no reins; rather, it carries the woman seemingly knowing the way. It trudges on out of a kind of loyalty to its rider, ever continuing the long journey home.
I've created hundreds of digital artworks. It's very rare that I ever order a print for myself, but, occasionally, if I really like a work, I will. This image was one of the artworks for which I ordered a print for myself. In fact, it's the largest print I've ever gotten of my own work at 30"x40". I've enjoyed it for myself for over a year before making this image public.

Daniel is a classically trained artist. A native of the East Cobb community in the Atlanta Metro area, he majored in art at the University of Georgia and has since accumulated over 25 years of art experience. Most well-known for his scientific illustrations of prehistoric creatures, he is also accomplished in creating Wild West art, fantasy art, wildlife scenes, and horror illustrations. His works have appeared in magazines and newspapers; the covers of books, albums, and products; and even in a few science and natural history museums.
